Let's start simple
What is lepidolite?
Lepidolite is a type of mica, the same mineral family that forms thin, shiny sheets. Its lilac colour comes from lithium and manganese. The name comes from the Greek lepidos, meaning scale, because it breaks into small scale-like flakes. It is often found with pink tourmaline and quartz.
Because it contains lithium, a mineral also used in some medicines, lepidolite became known as the "calm stone". Holding the stone does not give you any medicine; its reputation is a traditional one.
"If life feels like it's changing too fast, lepidolite is the stone people reach for to slow down."
