Let's start simple
What is amazonite?
Amazonite is a blue-green variety of microcline, a feldspar mineral. Its colour comes from traces of lead and water in the crystal, and its white streaks are bands of another feldspar. Despite the name, there is no known amazonite from the Amazon; it may have been confused with other green stones by early explorers.
Its calm, sea-green colour gave it a gentle meaning: hope, soothing words and peace of mind.
"Amazonite doesn't quiet the world. It helps you hear your own calm voice in it."
